The Opportunity
We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our team and help maintain our high quality standards. This role is essential for ensuring our products and processes comply with applicable standards. You will be responsible for quality control activities, technical documentation, and supporting the quality assurance system.

What You’ll Do
Quality Control (QC)

  • Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods
  • Document test results and maintain quality records
  • Prepare and update Certificates of Analysis (COA)
  • Participate in product stability activities and analyze results

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Support the ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Participate in deviation investigations and corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Maintain quality procedures and records documentation
  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues
  • Participate in preparation and execution of internal and external audits

Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Ensure product labeling compliance with applicable regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date product regulatory documentation
  • Support product registration activities

What You Bring

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in science (microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related field)
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of good laboratory and documentation practices
  • Experience with basic microbiological and chemical testing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements (an asset)
  • Experience in SDS preparation (an asset)
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities
