A55L™ contains highly effective nitrifying bacteria that eliminate high ammonia (ammonium) concentrations in wastewater. A55L™ enhances nitrification and provides re-seeding when nitrification is lost, especially during cold months. These actions reduce the occurrence of plant upsets from shocks and significantly increase wastewater treatment efficiency. When applied together with BCP655™, A55L™ helps to reduce total nitrogen, due to the denitrifying ability of BCP655™
