This achievement reinforces the competency, consistency, and credibility of the testing we provide under our ISO 17025 scope.<\/p>\n<p>The audit, conducted onsite by a representative from PJLA (Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc.) from June 2nd to 4th, marked a significant milestone\u2014it was the first full in-person audit since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. This face-to-face format offered valuable opportunities for discussion and learning, especially for newer members of our team who were introduced to the audit process for the first time. The auditor praised the engagement of our staff, and our team walked away with fresh insights that will strengthen how we operate moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>Being an <strong>ISO\/IEC 17025-accredited lab<\/strong> means Cortec Laboratories\u00ae is held to a higher standard than labs without accreditation\u2014comparable to earning a full college degree versus completing a few individual courses.
